2023
In 2023, we did a major re-write of our Bloom Portfolio following feedback from the Judges and decided to enter the main competition for the first time so we were very excited to be successful in achieving a Gold Award along with winning the Tesco Cup as the best entry in that class for our first attempt. In addition, we had 17 sites in the its Your Neighbourhood competition.

2022
In the 2022 competition, South Swindon in Bloom was awarded a Silver Gilt Medal, again in the Pennant Class and was the overall winner in that category. To help support our 2022 entry, we produced our first Bloom Portfolio and we also entered 4 sites in the Its Your Neighbourhood competition.

2021
The Council entered the Pennant Class again in 2021 and was again awarded a Silver Medal. Whilst there was some disappointment not to be awarded a higher-level Medal, the Judges did mention in their feedback that our entry was much improved from 2019 and made a number of positive comments about our entry which was very encouraging especially after the difficult COVID year when our activities were greatly curtailed.

2019
Since our first entry in 2019, South Swindon Parish Council played a major role in supporting our entry and whilst this was involvement was praised by the Judges, we realised that if we were to improve further in the competition, we would need to have a greater input from the local community and businesses
